It ranges from very pale pink to deep, rich shades of rose-pink and it used to be very cheap to acquire. Today the deeper shades are beginning to bring in much higher market-value, but it can still be found for very low prices. The usual price for rose quartz is about $10 to $25 for any size stone.It is malleable and therefore often carved into cameos, beads or even small statues and house-decorations. If cut into a gem it is always cabochon-style.
